We just can't seem to get enough of the Encore Lounge. Even if you can't sing, come over and clap for those who can. It is fun and friendly, and the bartenders always treat us well!

Cafe Flore, 2298 Market St. at Noe, in San Francisco's Castro District.
Cafe Flore features a diverse dinner menu, plus a cafe & full bar. There are both indoor and outdoor seating areas with heat lamps.
Public transit: The cafe is convenient to a number of Muni Metro Rail lines (including F, J, K, L, M, N). There are also various Muni bus lines serving the area. Check the Muni website for details.
Parking: Street parking is free after 6pm. There is a pay parking lot 1/2 block east at Sullivan's Funeral Home, 2252 Market Street. Price is around $10. There is another pay parking lot 2 blocks east at Home Restaurant, 2100 Market Street. Price is also around $10.
The Mid-Month Mixer (MMM) will no longer be fixed on the second Thursday of each month. This new flexibility will allow for more varied events, and will be a big benefit to members who find it difficult to attend a Thursday evening event. As a consequence of this change, we need your input on venues, dates, and times. Some of the criteria we are looking at are space, access to public transit, noise level, and price. The Social Co-Chairs would like to solicit input from you, the TGSF members. Your feedback is important to us. Please send your suggestions to .

Are you or your partner a transgender parent? Or thinking about becoming a parent? The Transgender Parent Support Group is an opportunity to connect with your peers and get mutual support. The group meets on the third Saturday of each month. First half hour will be spent socializing, with the remaining time dedicated to group discussion. Drop-ins are welcome, but ongoing attendance helps to establish group rapport.

TransGender San Francisco is a non-profit corporation dedicated to serving the educational, social, and recreational needs of the transgendered community, alongside partner organizations such as the Lou Sullivan Society. TGSF is also dedicated to educating the general public about transgenderism and promoting a positive image of transgendered persons among the general public. The transgendered community includes all transgendered persons, their family and friends, and anyone with a sincere interest in the transgender community.
